So what? The reason why people (in the USA) get angry about this, is because the republican party has run out of other forms of populism to mobilize their base. In the past preventing people of different races competing in sport was used as a means of discrimination against those groups. Let's not fall back to that. Of course the rules can be improved but international bodies of sport seem to judge in a way that gives trans people more rights to do sport then some USA laws allow. I think this should happen on a sport by sport basis om the international level and not on a state by state basis for all sports.
