Practical and sensible solution --- don't use an advertising company as your cloud provider.

Google has not proven itself as a dependable source for anything but advertising ... and even that is debatable.


Why is a retailer better suited to be a cloud provider?


Personal opinion --- because their cloud business model is more direct, stable and sustainable --- less subversive.

They offer a good product at a good price and by doing so, they earn a reasonable and stable profit. Their cloud service forms a core part of their business.

Everything Google does is built around privacy invasion and personal data collection and profiteering from this.

This is their main profit center, technology is just an accessory to further this. History shows that anything that can't be sufficiently subverted to do so is subject to being canceled.
