A quarter of the blood samples contained polyethylene, from which plastic carrier bags are made.

That's a crazy high percentage, but to be honest I'm not surprised in the least. The platic pollution in our lifetime is outstanding. Its really hard to get rid of plastics in my life but I'm very happy that many grocery stores here in Seattle are supplied with products that are trying to get away from plastics entirely
