I'd have to research a little more about actual viability, but there's been a lot of talk the last few years about China's hypersonic weaponry outclassing U.S. capabilities. I've also heard that Russia had similar capabilities, though, and I haven't seen any reports of them being used (yet). Hard to say if that was propaganda, or if the big guns are being held back.
I could understand that Russia may be, for example, running out of their own cruise missiles and would like to have some of the CJ-10s but anything else doesn’t really make much sense?
