This would have been a dire threat a couple years ago, but thanks to Spacex we no longer solely rely on Russia for space missions.

I like your optimism to believe that SpaceX could do more and better than Roscosmos. These guys have been lauching rockets before Elon was born.

So has ULA and Lockheed. Experience only gets you so far.

And what does SpaceX has more than Roscosmos? The crazy idea to colonize Mars and turn into the same shithole Earth is today?! We couldn't procure enough N95 masks for months during COVID-19, and you're talking about terraforming planets! Get real!

> And what does SpaceX has more than Roscosmos?

At this point: Customers, fully re-usable first stage, engineering talent, better assembly lines, better engines, more lift capacity, better operational tempo, and a drive to do something new.

Russian authorities really are pulling all the stops to appear as assholes and cut off bridges, aren't they?

It's as if their bravado rhetoric for internal consumption leaked, but it just ends up looking pathetic and full of despair.

It's really a shame that the people of Russia have to be subjected to this humiliation. Russia had an image of a nation packed with highly skilled, bright and sharp individuals, but Putin's regime managed to burn all that down to the ground and instead putting on a show as a toddler throwing a tantrum.

At least they are not threatening to leave him outside the ISS, as in "Ghost Fleet"...

After Russia invaded Ukraine nearly two weeks ago, President Joe Biden announced new sanctions, including cutting more than half of Russia's high-tech imports.

"It'll degrade their aerospace industry, including their space program," Biden said during a White House address Feb. 24.

Newton's Laws, (paraphrased): "For every action, there is a reaction."

Biden is pretty stupid to believe that Russia's Roscosmos depends on foreign technology! He is pushing Russia and China to united their efforts and we'll be the losers at the end! I know people like their Iron Man (Elon Musk), but an American oligarch and his government-funded company cannot deliver more than two powerful nations - it's just basic reasoning.
