DSL - domain specific languages. Juuust in case anyone wasn't aware. ;)

BTW if you don't recognize an acronym in an article or title -- just ask. Someone here always knows, no matter how obscure.

Not to discount that there may be HN readers who don’t recognize the acronym, but I suspect it’s one of the more familiar ones. Edit: oh I see the dead comments now. Welp, thanks for helping!

That said, it never hurts to disambiguate… which is why I’m slightly surprised the Wikipedia disambiguation page[1] doesn’t include the entry I thought to disambiguate, and even more surprised it’s second in Urban Dictionary’s top results[2].
