Show HN: Structured data medical notes via voice recognition (aspiringmedical.com)

Hi Everyone,

Nurses are critical to patient care, and they are in short supply at the moment. I've been thinking about ways to automate the administrative aspects of nursing.

Nurses spend a lot of time (~35% of their day according to some studies) interacting with the electronic health record (EHR). Often, they are inputting structured data like vital signs, medication given, etc.

Could we use a mobile app to parse voice transcription data and upload notes to the EHR to save nurses a bit of time? Maybe just a modern graphic interface on a mobile app would help?

I made a working demo of the voice transcription idea you can try.

If you work in the healthcare space, and know someone who might be interested - I'd love to chat. I'm looking to partner with healthcare institutions to 'co-develop' the app: they can bring the user feedback; we'll bring the code.
