We work with a physical therapist for our child, and they are furious about these new guidelines to the point of organizing their colleagues to petition for a reversal. Early intervention can yield magical results, but every month counts and by extending these diagnostic timeframes it’s more likely that some kids will not seek/get the professional help as early as they need.
