GitHub - crpietschmann/AzureSphereOS: Azure Sphere Source Code released under GPL license by Microsoft. (unofficial / unsupported repository)

More importantly:

>Note: This repository does NOT contain the full source code for the Azure Sphere OS. This is a subset of the source code, and only the source code that has been released under the GPL license by Microsoft.

Over at the thread about pluton, i was curious about what the deal is with it, and had to piece it together. Azure Sphere is a linux distro intended to operate on the pluton hardware

MS already has TPM but the problem is the physical exposure of the interface between TPM and CPU. this allows someone to snarf the keys and determine the bus signals, For this reason MS wants to develop a stake on SoC in order to physically protect the transactions between TPM and CPU.

Basically MS wants to put a piece of hardware inside the chipset packages. and im guessing, will want to do this in a way that makes microsurgical methods near impossible.

--i think its all about an end to end secured cloud service platform, what happens as time goes on is to be seen
