I have a hard time trusting wikipedia to have bias free information at this point. With politicians able to scrub their bios prior to running and the general sense from reading the more popular pages.
The citation for his "self-medication" is from a Salon piece. Is this really where we've come to, a big circle jerk of citing low quality references to seem legitimate? How about linking to some actual long form media of what he said, not clips without context or articles even more removed.
I remember when first hand sources were sought after. It would be nice to see them used given how much more prevalent they are in modern society.
