I feel for you. But why run skeleton crew for one of the highest revenue periods in hospitality? Makes you vulnerable at the worst time and sorta kinda a little arrogant.



Plenty of companies right now are trying to give their workers a break to prevent burnout, keep talent, etc. Not to mention a lot of folks request this time off for the holidays anyway. Losing your payment processor in 48 hours would just be as substantial of an issue even if they had an entire crew anyways.


This is simply the nature of the hospitality industry. If you get burned out working holidays then hospitality is not for you. It’s a blunt fact of the business case.
