How long before we run out of fossil fuels? (ourworldindata.org)

I’m wondering what would happen to passenger aircraft in the future? since we gonna run out of fuel one day, are we gonna have passenger aircraft powered by electricity? is it even possible? if so are there any safety concerns?

Passenger aircrafts? You wouldn’t even be able to assemble a passenger aircraft.

Everything you interact with in a day exists because of fossil fuels - from raw materials extraction to manufacturing and logistics.

This is especially true for the developing world using antiquated technologies.

Every aspect of the entire supply chain would need to be redesigned, even the most minor elements like logging and farming equipment and the demand of electric would overwhelm electric grids significantly, as many of these industrial countries already have blackouts regularly.

If we discover electric accumulators with a better energy-density than Li-Ion then yes, it is possible.

Just a reminder
