I eagerly await the day when society gives up on "radical new paradigms" and starts to look at time-tested approaches. I mean if we want to eradicate drugs, there are examples of countries that have successfully done so right now: China, Singapore, etc. The fact that the US hasn't yet done this makes me think that there are some forces out there that WANT Americans to be dependent on drugs.


Not sure that using the CCP police state as the model to emulate for eradication of anything is very appealing. It’s fair to say that radical methods can work - but it’s a self-defeating argument, like 1930’s German train punctuality.
