Something like Andreas Kling working on Serenity OS

There are many summary channels but I haven’t found any who show how their hacking process

I've quite liked Jon Gjengset's videos on more advanced topics in Rust. https://www.youtube.com/c/JonGjengset

He is one of the best Rust programmers out there. Definitely one of those 10X programmers.

Mature, technical, no delusion of grandeur. The only computer oriented YouTube channel that I've ever subscribed.

Got a hobby thanks to that guy.

Jonathan Blow and George Hotz get pretty technical at times.

But if you want something that's a bit funnier and goes into the process of tinkering and working on interesting problems, I like Code Bullet on YouTube.

ooh thanks, didn't know George Hortz did stuff like that

Some interesting picks (all on Twitch):

* Kitboga: mostly messes with tech support scammers, but sometimes works on helpful projects on stream

* strager: variety tech streamer. Mainly works on his project, quick-lint-js, but also spends a lot of time helping his viewers with their projects. Friendly and collaborative chat.

* museun: lesser known Rust dev, extremely talented

* kristoff_it: I believe he leads “marketing” (or something like that) for the Zig language. Obviously streams a lot of Zig :)

* teej_dv: one of the lead devs of Neovim, streams some work-related stuff too.

* rw_grim: one of the core devs of Pidgin, streams work on that.

* gamozo: hardcore, low-level development streams with a broad focus on fuzzing. This dude is a good example of a 10x developer ;)

Tsoding is a nice one. I think he's been working on his own programming language for a while now.

+1 for Tsoding. Very smart fellow. Unlike most streamers, he always mixes up programming languages instead of focusing on a specific one. I find that interesting, but I also understand some people wouldn’t.

May I suggest you check out https://www.twitch.tv/ThePrimeagen for some live programming on stream :)

Example of his content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WPC8rZQvQU (My workflow using Vim, 2021)

The Cherno's C++ guides were absolutely crucial in helping me get up to speed with C++ quickly. And a good reference for things I came across which I did not understand well.

https://calmcode.io/ - learn code calmly

I recently started writing emacs like editor in Elixir and sharing process on Twitch almost every each day at 18:00 UTC.

Not sure whether it qualifies as a good programming stream though https://www.twitch.tv/achempion.

https://youtube.com/c/HusseinNasser-software-engineering

Hussein Nasser, talks about networking, databases, and all things backend.

If you are a Java Developer I suggest Adam Bien and Sebastian Daschner. They both have YT channels and produce regular contents.

Ryan Levick used to stream Rust videos when he had the time. They are excellent.

Check out handmade hero!

Do you mean this channel? (Molly Rocket)

Yeah, that is it. He changed the channel name awhile back.

twitch.tv/j_blow - Jonathan Blow: Game engine, compiler, and game programming.
