Mark Gurman drives me up the wall sometimes. Who did the math on any of this? Who out there would be motivated to buy into Apple's gaming service when one half of the population can already play those games on their phone and the other half would pick a competitors service every day of the week? There's a very good reason none of this exists, the economics just aren't there. Apple Arcade wasn't the boon they were hoping for, and adding an extra layer of abstraction into the mix isn't going to help anyone.
