Just because our leaders are democratically elected doesn't mean that they always make decisions in the best interests of our country or its people. Indeed, it's incumbent on every citizen to oppose policies they disagree with. For that reason, it's never correct to say that someone is against democracy just because they oppose the government or its policies.
