This must be an incredibly good recruiting tool. The prospect of working on one of those projects at one of those places is exciting!

Unfortunately, if the situation in France is like it is in Germany, the pay is really bad.

I wish the german government had such a page (and paid anywhere near market rate ...).


The social contribution + income tax is too high.

€59000 net (100k gross) costs the employer €145,000.


And social security, healthcare, job security, and pension are pretty good, so you don’t have to save as much as safety net for the risk of getting sick or being fired to have a decent life when you’re older.


They're not that good for the cost


What do you mean? That this is different for public vs. private employers in the EU?
