It does seem she is more interested in a career in government than being a "whistleblower". It is a wrong statement of course.

I wonder if Facebook might ever pay for a fake whistleblower who would blend in with the other ones but also explicitly push for policies that Facebook secretly wants.

I wouldn't go that far, but I believe she reiterates what some politicians want to hear and her proposed solutions are very flawed in my opinion.
