On: What is the metaverse, and do I have to care?

The metaverse is the 3D internet, full stop. The main way that we will interface with the metaverse is the web, which is currently still in 2D mode.

However, with the introduction of WebGPU, WebAssembly, and WebXR the browser will be able to host immersive, spatial websites.
