Safari 14 broke WebGL, causing serious performance degradations.

I'm trying really hard to make my apps work correctly on Safari, but it's getting exhausting. Every time performance start to look good on Safari, a new bug pops up, without any indication on when a fix will be released.

In this case, WebGL has been broken since Safari 14, and it's still broken in Safari 15.

The issue status is: Fixed, but it's not fixed

Yeah safari reminds me of my struggles with IE6 issues in 2004, since they can't control the web they go and cripple their browser.
