The government does need to do more, against the actual criminals responsible for causing real harm to millions of people. I don't care about people holding (not even distributing) marijuana, but I care about illegal naked short selling the stock market, illegally creating a drug cartel and fraudulently misrepresenting the product, illegally misrepresenting a drug testing product - all of these crimes have HUGE impacts and really harm people. These are the crimes I want to see people in jail for. Hell, honestly maybe we should consider the death penalty for these crimes.
If the justice system would try to actually dole out justice instead of maintaining the status quo, we might actually live in a better world. As it is, the world fucking sucks, and I refuse to defend the status quo.
