If they are no longer the majority, should they not be the ones to integrate into the majority rather than try to force the current majority to go their way?

'Conservatives' trashing America's last 50+ years of policy and social advancement is the same trashing American culture. People who knowingly intend to subvert whole categories of protected speech and classes of people aren't "into America" - they're into themselves - and this latest white-trash-fantasy that should have ended on January 6 but didn't is proof of that.
