Fantastic news! An email server that would be as robust, self-contained, and simple as SQLite...


Yeah, it would be a cool project. Fossil, his source control and ticket manager looks interesting as well. I don't think I would use it, with git so intrenched, but the way it shows diffs on tickets is really nice.


Maybe you could steal ideas and/or code from Fossil to add to Git in order to make Git better?

Actually the story of SQLite has been told numerous times, but each iteration fills in more of the details. Dr. Hipp is a personal hero of mine. If you're interested in learning more about the genesis of this amazing software, this podcast is well worth a listen.
