I don't understand why the CDC now says vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors...weren't we wearing masks for the sake of others? The idea that fully vaccinated people can't spread COVID hasn't exactly been proven yet.
Suppose someone offered, say, ten million dollars to the first team that could write code to discern, from the outcome data, which areas had locked down and had mask mandates, and which hadn't. Would anyone be able to claim it?
If the answer is no, is it possible that most of what governments did in response to this outbreak was inferior to what they did on previous similar outbreaks, i.e., basically nothing? (Was there anything like a lockdown or a mask mandate during the HK flu in 1968?)
1. Everyone has duties to the community in which alone the free and full development of his personality is possible.
2. In the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be subject only to such limitations as are determined by law solely for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order and the general welfare in a democratic society.
