Hoping that the unified OS will be free and open source like Android (AOSP). Tizen and a few previous versions of Wear OS appear to be open source, but the Tizen SDK, Wear OS phone app, and Galaxy Wearable phone app are closed source.
If this means Wear OS is getting infected with Tizen, so much for Wear OS. The characteristic feature of Tizen is, by accounts, crashiness. It is not easy to make C even less type-safe, but Tizen succeeds.
