Hey HN, I made this because I wanted a fast editing experience when making flowcharts. The other tools (bottom) can make nicely shaped graphs, but required clicking and dragging (or editing code) to edit the graph itself. Knotend is keyboard centric and has a compact interface. It's supposed to feel more like editing a doc than dragging around boxes and arrows.

My main use case for flowcharts is planning large projects with many moving parts and multiple teammates. And for the actual software design. But there are many other use cases. I'd appreciate your feedback on how you might use it, on the idea, the design, etc. Thank you.

There are many flowchart editors out there. The ones I previously used both at work and personally were:

- Confluence (Atlassian)

- draw.io

- excalidraw
