I'd think that the control bottles on Earth would have had to have gone through similar vibration/orientation changes to make this a meaningful comparison. It's possible you could get the same "space" results (if they're deemed "better") by shaking Earth-resident bottles up periodically.

Also, there's no mention of a double-blind test to see if they're actually distinguishable by taste. Without that, this article's content is meaningless, as the bias involved in wine tasting is huge and well documented.


The fact that they don't advertise that the tasting was double blind makes me think it wasn't
