You’re right, partially. In the sense that to mine bitcoin/etc you need something more powerful... but you could just create a new type of crypto to be mined specifically in low power/IoT devices. Something like [1]

Not familiar with Helium, but it seems to be PoS more than PoW (at least for the IoT device part) so I guess that could work.


How does something that works on low pwered systems not get devoured by larger systems currently mining other coins?
