Microsoft Security Adventures Game (mssecurityadventure.com)

Apparently OpenSource software contains vulnerabilities exploitable by hackers, but in good news Microsoft can sell you some cloud thing that protects you against it.

The hacker must have compromised the company's website through the open-source software vulnerability I saw in Azure Sentinel, she thinks

This is a slow moving soap-opera with the most boring plot, characters and products ever.

But it is woke. Except for the fact that all the bosses are men.... except the nasty boss lady from marketing.

Choose your own ad-venture [sorry]

It's not really an adventure game like that, it's more of a click through story where fabulous Contoso clip-art people use all of their MS security solutions to thwart bad actors from Eastern Europe!

They have infrequent questions about what Kiana (the IT professional) should do: remediate ransomware on Paula's PC? or keep investigating the infiltration?

So far I have not made a wrong choice, which either means I'm fairly smart, or every option leads to another perfectly suited MS security tool. Could be both I guess, but I don't have a control group so I don't know!

Kind of nice graphics anyway.

There are wrong answers.

Nice awareness game. Sorta engaging and realistoc story with product placements in then. Which is okay, the products mentioned are damned good.

This whole thing is an ad for some crappy Microsoft security product that never actually works the way the ad implies in the real world.

I gave up after waiting 30 seconds for assets to load.

I was hoping this was a bit closer in load time to the original Adventure game.
