That was the case before the internet exploded in popularity. People were very suspicious.



It feels weird how things have changed in past 20 years. Like as child we learned not to trust anything on Internet. Or to share our own information... And then everyone started using social media and sharing everything...

Maybe we had the right thing then, if you are using your real name or connectible info keep it professional. And lot of information is false... But now it seems all that has gone away...


Remember when everyone believed people on the internet were different than people you met in person? They were to be avoided.

I guess you could say the web was treated like the dark web is treated now.
