Ask HN: What resources are available for hacking victims?

1: I feel like I'm hacked, I can't do anything, I'm completely mentally paralyzed because of it. I badly need help. I would be grateful if those of you knowledgeable in cybersecurity can advise me on what services/types of companies or organizations are available that I can make use of to fix my hacking problem. There's more text that I'm adding as a reply or comment.

2: I feel like randoms are going into my accounts or can see screens of my devices live (they seem to be reacting to what I do on my devices/the internet). How do I check if/where my passwords or session cookies or something that would allow anyone to get into my accounts are exposed? Or if/where my screens are exposed? Are there companies/organizations that can search the internet for you and tell you if/where you're exposed? Are there any remote malware removal or malware analysis companies I can use that can completely get rid of malware (I don't think places like geek squad and micro center would be of any use, I might have some really bad malware on my computers and phone and need something more capable)?. I tried amazon eero a while ago and it definitely picked up spyware on my computer and phone (I have screenshots indicating it), I've reinstalled windows and reset my phone and malware still seems to be there. Pressing a random key on the chrome address bar types the letter a like 50 times when the letter a was not pressed, I get phone calls when I'm feeling vulnerable as a form of intimidation as if I'm being watched (attacker seems to be using an ai voice generation social engineering tool, I'm not sure if this is the right terminology). Hundreds if not thousands of fake profiles with images from rural india show up in the people you may know section in my facebook account and weird stuff like this happens to me often. Should I also consider switching to macbook and iphone from windows 10 and pixel 3a? Are there any companies I can use that can do everything and ensure that I have privacy? I can't function, I'm completely mentally paralyzed because of it. I would be grateful if I can get advise here on what to do. I'm not familiar with the hackernews website and might have posted this in the wrong way. Thank you.

First, shut off your computer. Deal with the problem (looking at HN, for example) on another device. From there, boot up your computer in safe mode (depends on your operating system). Get all the files you want to keep on a flash drive, and reset your device. That's the most secure way to do it, as it wipes all the files from your computer and deletes anything the hackers could be using to control your computer remotely. Change your passwords and be careful what you download.

I've done that. I've also reinstalled windows 10 and reset my pixel 3a android phone. It doesn't seem to be helping. The malware still seems to be there. I think I need a malware removal or malware analyst service that can remove really bad malware. Places like geek squad and micro center would probably not be of any help, I've tried scanning with a lot of popular anti-virus software and it doesn't detect anything, I might have something called FUD (fully undetectable) malware but I'm not sure if this is the right terminology.

Bitdefender and malwarebytes have also thrown notifications about suspicious connection being blocked when I went to popular websites (like google or flipboard.com) that should be safe. It feels like the attacker is triggering the notifications as a way to intimidate me, as if the attacker has access to my computer and phone and is violating my privacy and this is a way of reminding me of that.

Also Google looked really different a while ago like a 90s version of Google, and text on Google showed up in other languages, and asian (chinese, japanese, or similar) profiles show up on dating sites and apps often, these are not profiles of normal asian people. Thank you.

1. There's a good chance that the malware has updated your browsers preferences, especially if you're using Chrome (which syncs preferences/profiles). To test this, you can try using a different browser and see if they have the same problems.

2. If you're a Google/Gmail/GSuite user I'd suggest that you log out of all sessions by following the instructions in https://support.google.com/mail/answer/8154?co=GENIE.Platfor...

3. I wouldn't count out Best Buy/micro center/whatever. Many of the computer support calls they encounter are around removing malware

Okay, thank you.
