How would websites look like if they had motion blur on scroll (pie6k.github.io)

My conclusion - it might look sweet, but usability is poor (especially when scanning looking for something)

Makes me ill but I was very interested in seeing what it looked like.

I also get VR sickness is some VR games so I'm sure its for the same reason, if I scroll down a lot my brain says I should be falling. No issues without the blur.

Scrolling by dragging the bar seems to apply the max amount of blur even if you only move it by a pixel, but other than that I could see myself using it as a browser extension. This was a pleasant scrolling experience

ps. it's working on Chrome only.

"Works" in Safari on MacOS.

However, there appears to be two phases of blur. The first starts immediately, the second is a total blur and starts well after I've started scrolling and doesn't unbar until well after I've stopped scrolling.

The whole thing is horrible from a UI perspective.

Works on latest Firefox. Chrome has better framerate though

Works on Firefox 84 for me (but laggy).
