On: Ask HN: When coding, how to do remember what you were doing the previous day?

If I’m ready to commit, I look at my most recent commit notes. If I’m not, I either:

- recall by what was open last

- recall by hitting undo a couple times

- stash with notes if I worry that won’t be enough context
