There's something about news media that likes to emphasize Teslas and catching fire. I remember mid/late 2000's FUD about electric vehicles being a big fire risk, but I don't know why articles like these keep happening. By making individual Tesla-fires newsworthy they exaggerate the actual risk of fire. No one interviews the driver of a Dodge Charger that caught fire on the interstate.
