I like the idea. There are too many data middlemen that proved they cannot be trusted, especially ISPs. Since there was not alternative, they had free reign and did sell consumer data. Time to pull it from their hands for good. The idea looks solid, but Apple and Cloudflare should be scrutinized still.

It is good that companies need to fear their revenue shrinking because they have neglected and actively fought privacy.


I've wanted Apple to be more proactive with making DNS more secure and now they're doing it. Everyone on iCloud should be able to use ODoH.
