Ask HN: Credential Bank for Distributed Teams?

Hi. If you lovely folks have any solutions to the issue of sharing logins securely across a distributed team, I'd love, love, love to hear them.

I hope all my fellow hackers are staying healthy and happy. Cheers!

I have helped administer the LastPass Enterprise account at my employer. It has a number of features that help make it more easily manageable and scalable.

I use 1Password for my personal stuff. I think they’ve got a better trust model than LastPass, and better aligned incentives to keep their stuff secure. But I’ve also tried to set up my wife with 1Password for Families, and it’s a right royal pain in the ass on that side.

There is the original “pass” program for *nix/Linux type systems, and there are clients that work (more or less) on most other OSes.

But I have yet to find a good program that I could unequivocally recommend for teams across all platforms.
