This is to calm the market. Granted they went for their highest selling macs, so that’s a pretty big sign of confidence. This is also the lowest risk as far as their SoC design goes as nothing in the iOS/iPadOS goes past 16GB. Being able to daisy chain multiple screens or handle eGPUs are more demanding. I suspect March-June well get a few more refreshes and then fall something major.
