This reminds me of Intel schwag we got in the late 90's (working at the "we build white box PCs" shop) that featured chip dies. They're pretty to look at, what w/ their diffraction-induced iridescence. I've got a tie tack and a keychain that both have cores potted in epoxy. Presumably they were manufacturing seconds. With the proliferation of die shots on the 'net now I ought to dig them out and try to figure out what they are.
