Interesting that they choose Kotlin instead of Julia or swift for differential programming.

Is there a resource that talks about various applications of differential programming ? I am only aware of its use in optimization and reinforcement learning

Very nice. I just wish that they wouldn’t have used a JVM language, it just feels so constrained. I want to be able to use godbolt.

Kotlin has the ability to target machine code using Kotlin Native[1], which utilizes LLVM as the backend.
