Why Does Bluetooth Suck?

I have always experienced problem with Bluetooth on every OS and device, and it is so frustrating. The pairing seems to be the biggest issue.

Is the Bluetooth technology getting any love at all? Is it possible to develop a new wireless technology to replace it?

It sucks for the same reason most things suck: it was designed as a compromise standard between competing parties, and not as the expression of usefulness or desire of users and makers.

Write or contribute to a mesh protocol library for a cheap low-power SDR. Lots of reasons to decouple hardware from integrated laptops these days.

I don’t know it does have issues but last few weeks I’ve been having a lot of fun learning BLE with html and an esp32.

My goal has been to use BLE to allow a user to connect to my device to enter WiFI credentials. So far it’s pretty nice...

Can't recall specifics, just that everytime I head about Bluetooth its always that every vendor's Bluetooth stack is a conpletr mess and that the spec as well if a source of confusion.

read the spec lol!!!!
