PROBLEM In terms of the 2019 Coding Sans survey of software development companies, among the biggest challenges in software development were (% of respondents): 1) Sharing knowledge (20%) 2) Prioritizing developers (14%) 3) Employee retention (4.3%)

Different solutions are available on the market for each of the problems listed above. However, the existence of these challenges says, that solutions are imperfect.

SOLUTION SHOULD BE ABLE TO - Track the level of competence of developers in business topics and technologies. - Track the difficulty level of business/technical topics - Assist in assessing tasks at the sprint/release planning stage - Help in sharing knowledge within the team - Manage the risk of burnout/retention of developers - Manage risks of tasks/sprints/releases related to knowledge and competencies

FOR WHOM For project managers and team/tech leads, however could be useful for developers as well to build personal development plans.

WHAT IS DONE SO FAR 1) Extraction of code regions, based on file and folder names, keywords analysis 2) Analysis of Pull Requests to find recommended reviewers 3) Risks analysis for commits, pull requests and regions 4) Statistics for code regions 5) Slack integration: receive notifications for recommended reviewers for Pull Requests.

HOW TO TEST: Application URL: https://app.efficiefy.io/ Landing page: http://efficiefy.io/ Demo page: https://efficiefy.io/demo-v-3/

At the moment only integration with GitHub is done. To get the best experience, please try it on a repository with at least a few contributors. You may start just by forking any public GitHub repository, although Pull Requests then would not be available.

Usually, analysis takes ~1 hour, but may take longer depending on the number of commits and pull requests in the repository.
