The Guardian are most definitely in the corona doomer category. Always highlighting the negative and ignoring the positive. I guess it gets them more clicks.

In the thread I linked there should be the exact figures. Vaccines target the whole spike protein (most of them, at least) so it's likely not going to be a problem. It may be for monoclonal antibodies.
