Hi, I made a website for helping in the songwriting process. You feed it with a phrase or a few words and it writes a song inspired on these. If you can try it and let me know your feedback it would be great.

A few technical details: It's a GPT-2 model trained with around 20k songs that I scraped and then extracted its keywords.

Very interesting. It's pretty good with song structure, formatting, themes, etc... The one major thing it seems to be missing is rhythm and rhyme.

I can imagine decorating the data with a pronunciation dictionary, so that you can coerce some better phonology from the model... There's a pretty good dataset from Carnegie Mellon here:

That's a great idea, thanks for the feedback, I will try to do that :)

I'd like to be able to remove/save/hide some songs, so I can play around w/ new keywords and get rid of really bad ones... So, maybe an X that deletes the song on that line...

That would be pretty useful and easy to implement, thanks!

This was an absolute blast! Very "exquisite corpse" at 0.9. But what the other comments said: allow minor editing. Also maybe insertion of new keyword directly into a song during edit phase.
