No, but that's probably because I've grown up in the wild west of the '90s, where apps lived or died on their reputation. Any betrayal of users' trust would result in immediate removal and condemnation.

Also, it's not like modern developers don't sell users down the river. In fact, that's one of the very few sustainable business models that the AppStore forces you to have.
