One thing I have to be careful of when using it to edit existing images is that it doesn't support colour profiles AFAIK, so edits can be lossy if the image isn't sRGB.

To be clear, AzPainter V2 actually in under heavy rewriting (next generation would get new toolkit with Wayland support & more features).

As for now you could add feature request & bug reports for AzPainter V2 here.[0]
