On the topic of Microsoft is not less evil than before: they recently released a GUI kit called MAUI, thereby stealing the name of the already existing KDE project. They know and they're not being nice about it.

One is MauiKit stylized MAUi and another is .NET MAUI. The acronyms for both are generic enough that this complaint feels like a reach

Do you honestly believe that it's a reach to state that both are called maui?


Yes, just like the letter C is generic when naming a programming language.
