Good open source projects for beginners?
4 points by shytey on May 21, 2020 | hide | past | favorite
I'm learning javascript and am still in the beginner phase. Are there any open source projects that would accept work from a beginner? How do I find them if so? Or is it unlikely I will be of any use until I'm at a more advanced level?

For an idea of my level, a recent project was a basic 2 player card game that used html, css, vanilla JS, websockets, s3 and EC2. It was completed with a lot of handholding from tutorials and the code is a mess.
