This video from mid-March by a Japanese expat in Nanjing was pretty interesting. He walks you through many of the post "opening up" practices in place in Nanjing:

> Coronavirus: From 93 infected to 0, what did this Chinese City do to contain the virus?

Must-read article for people in charge of "re-opening" of Europe and US states!

The extent of the measures taken to prevent further infections and the re-emergence of the epidemic are truly eye-opening.

Agreed. Some officials seem to still have the idea that we can get to zero infections by just following Wuhan's example, and they need to quickly realize that was never a real option in a free society.

No one wants to use public transport in Wuhan, but cars are selling like before the pandemic. I wonder what New Yorkers will do with fear of subways. There's no space to park already.

E-bikes and similar

Including in the winter and across boros? What if you're 65, live in the Bronx and work on Wall Street?

Yes, including winter and across boros. People in Harbin in China and other northern Chinese cities colder than NYC, commute by bike in winter no problem. Here in the US, there is a sizeable portion of people that commute by bike in the winter in Minneapolis.

Anyone above 40?

Corona may have blown over by winter.

Reminds me of the Black Mirror episode "Nosedive"

Some people read HN from their phones.

Good point, but μMatrix is available for Android Firefox at least.
