”The devices produce a sustained voltage of around 0.5 volts across a 7-micrometre-thick film, with a current density of around 17 microamperes per square centimetre”

If I’m doing the math right 17 microamperes per square centimeter at 0.5V is, rounding up, 10 microWatt per square centimeter, or 0.1 W per square meter. Not (¿yet?) something to power a house from.
