Aside from voting for whoever wins the Democratic primary this time around? Get over COVID-19 as fast as I can so I'm able to volunteer to make PPE, donate plasma for serum antibodies if that ever becomes a thing where I am, and whatever else I can find that might help. Granted, I'd be doing that no matter who I voted for in 2016, but if there's some extent to which it qualifies as atonement for prior foolishness, then I'll do it for that too, I suppose. If you've got any other ideas, I'd be interested to hear them.
That's the spirit. Thank you, I'm really impressed with this. I hope there are lots of people like you. It's easy enough to be frustrated and to wish for radical change in politics, hopefully for the better. But disruption for disruptions' sake is ignoring a lot of lessons from history.
One thing you might want to do is to do a write-up of how you were thinking before, what specifically made you change your mind and to promote that as wide as you can. You just might convince a couple of fence sitters.
I have no dog in the race, but since the rest of the world suffers when America is weak I'd much rather have them strong and stable than leaving a power vacuum. And that's taking into account that the democratic party is far from perfect.
